John Shiel - Managing Director
John has made a career of marketing communications management, drawing on skills in marketing business development, online production and journalism. He graduated with a degree in Pure & Applied Physics at UMIST, Manchester, UK where he also served as newspaper editor and students' union president. He worked as a Journalist and Production Manager at the South Manchester Reporter newspaper then worked in Marketing Consultancy and Print Production and Design Management while gaining a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2001. In 2004, John started Krann Ltd after 10 years developing his skills in web design and development, fusing these with effective copywriting skills and marketing savvy! John is a qualified PADI Open Water Diver and has dived in areas as diverse as the Arabian Gulf and the English Lake District.
